Recently in Travels Category

Finally I came back home in Rome...
There's always a strange feeling when coming back after several days.
On one side I'm happy to be again in my "headquarter" where I can start again to do a lot of things that I wasn't able to do while I was away.
On the other side it seems like the party is over and now all the extraordinary feelings are gone leaving the place for the routinary ones.
So, at the end of the game, I can't say if I'm happy to continue all the things that I left uncompleted before leaving or if I'm sad to be again in front of a computer instead of a wonderful sea...
Anyway, actually I'm planning to spend some time of this week-end on the multitouch display, after publishing this post I'll see how to setup a portable base for the display and how to get the compliant surface in silicone rubber.
This surface will enhance (it's also a hope) a lot the sensivity of the display improving the coupling beetweeen the plexiglas panel and the projection screen.
Of course I'll write down something to fill the multitouch display page!

Yes, Las Vegas was really unbelievable like I was imaging!
Unfortunately I can't share here my experiences because otherwise my girlfriend will.....ehm, no no, because I (as usual) don't have enough time!
As I said the trip in Vegas was for work purposes, now I'll be on vacation for two weeks!!!
Yeah!
So, again, yesterday I unpacked my stuff and washed quite everything (also in the attempt to not to fall sleeping until the evening). This morning I collected my stuff and packed it up again because tomorrow I'll leave for my summer vacations. This year me and my partner Monica will be again in Salento, dancing "taranta", eating wonderful fish and drinking great "mieru" (wine)!

I really hope to find also a decent internet connection so I can continue some of my works...

Salento I'm coming!

After spending two-three days just in setting up this loosy blog, I'm already leaving it!
Ok, just for a while :o)

This evening I'll be packing my stuff because tomorrow morning I'll leave towards Las Vegas!
Please don't start to think about strange things: this is for work reason because I'll have a whole week of meetings
It will be hard work.........and it will be just for a week!
I hope to:
- come back
- come back alone
- come back alone and without any ring on my finger
- come back with some banknotes still in my pocket
- come back with something different from "0" on my bank account
- come back with a wider smile on my face! :o)

So, like Benicio Del Toro's flashbacks in the movie "Snatch" I'm singing:
