Some days ago, in my office, we had to reorganize our spaces and change our desks. It was also the chance to scrape out some stuff from our lockers. So, I noticed that one of my colleague was trashing a brand new Linksys WRT-54g! Of course I was asking why she was getting rid of it and the answer was "it's broken, it could not be repaired, they tried also resetting the hardware but there's no way". I kindly asked if I could have it and try to repair it.This way I won the chance to have a great wireless...
As you saw in my last post, I was not happy at all of the firmware that my new NAS came with. After playing with it for just one hour, I decided to see which chip it was based on and what was around in terms of hacks and (hopefully) improvements. As I was saying some days ago, I was really happy and excited to find that there's a great guy, LordScaffard, that completed the first porting of OpenWrt for this NAS!
